Stags here carry a classic Highland look — longer brow tines, good top, and a wildness in their movement that reflects genuinely undisturbed country. The late-September rut in Sutherland is among the most atmospheric in the world.

Sutherland Stag Stalking organises bespoke one-on-one red stag stalks on private estates of 20,000–80,000 acres in the far north. Days may involve 10+ miles across open hill, navigating peat hags and deer grass in challenging conditions. The reward is an intimate, unguided Highland experience that cannot be replicated.
