The scimitar-horned oryx is an extraordinary conservation success story: extinct in its native North Africa, Texas ranches have maintained a free-range population of over 11,000 animals. These are listed under the Endangered Species Act but can be legally hunted on private land in Texas, making this one of the only places on earth to ethically hunt this extinct-in-wild species.

Gemsbok are equally impressive — towering black-and-white animals with 3-foot straight horns that have been hunted in Texas for decades. Both species roam large ranches in the classic Texas brush country. Combo hunts for both species available with excellent savings.
