Trophy Whitetail Hunt — East Texas Piney Woods

East Texas offers a distinctly different whitetail hunting experience from the brush country of South Texas — dense pine and hardwood forests, creek bottoms thick with mast-producing oaks, and mature bucks with dark, heavy-beamed racks shaped by the rich bottomland habitat. Pineywoods Trophy Whitetail manages 8,000 acres of prime East Texas timber for trophy deer, with food plots, mineral programs, and 4-year-old minimum buck management.

Hunts are conducted from elevated box blinds over corn feeders and food plots at dawn and dusk. East Texas is famed for the November/December rut when bucks throw caution to the wind. The heavily timbered creek drainages near the Sabine and Angelina River bottoms produce bucks with impressive body size and character antlers unique to the East Texas soil type.

Lodging is in a comfortable 6-bed hunting camp with full kitchen, WiFi, and covered processing area. Youth hunters and first-time deer hunters are especially welcome — this is excellent country for an introductory whitetail experience.
