Persian ibex are found nowhere else in the United States — only Unit 25 in New Mexico's Florida Mountains hosts this unique population, introduced in the 1970s. Mature billies display impressive scimitar-curved horns against a striking tan coat, and they inhabit some of the most vertical, challenging terrain hunted in North America.

Tags are drawn through New Mexico Game & Fish with very limited annual issuance. This is a true bucket-list hunt for the serious North American big game hunter — an animal found in only one place in the entire country.
