Free-ranging aoudad have established themselves in the broken mesas and canyon country of northeastern New Mexico where they thrive in the rugged limestone terrain.

New Mexico aoudad hunting combines challenging mountain hunting with spectacular canyon country scenery — deep red rock canyons, pinyon and juniper mesa tops, and vast vistas across the High Plains. Mature rams with full manes and massive sweeping horns are available on both private and public land.
