North Carolina Black Bear — Pocosin Lakes

Swamp bear hunting in the legendary Pocosin Lakes region of Dare County, NC. This unique coastal wetland habitat holds some of the largest black bears in the eastern United States. Hunt with spot & stalk techniques through pocosin wetlands or with bear dogs — one of the last remaining areas in the East where traditional dog hunting is practiced.
