New Mexico archery mule deer in the San Juan Basin — Unit 2C offers OTC archery tags for non-residents, making it one of the only high-quality mule deer hunts in the Southwest that doesn't require a draw. High Desert Outfitters NM runs 6-day September spot-and-stalk hunts at 6,000–8,500 ft elevation across pinyon-juniper and mesa-top sagebrush flats. Bucks consistently run 160–185" with occasional 190"+ giants on private and BLM lease country. Spike camp tent hunts; game bags and ice provided. Non-resident archery deer tag (~$238) not included.
