About This Hunt
New Mexico's Gila National Forest is a 3.3-million-acre wilderness producing Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young record elk. H&A Outfitters has worked Units 15, 16A, 16D, and 23 for years, guiding hunters to close-range shots on rutting bulls in September. 85% success rate on rifle hunts; archery in the Gila rut is the most exciting elk hunting in the Southwest. 2x1 or 1x1 guide ratios available.
