5-Day Archery Elk Hunt — San Juan Mountains

Experience world-class archery elk hunting in the heart of Colorado's San Juan Mountains. Our experienced guides have spent decades learning the migration patterns of the impressive bull elk that call this 14,000-foot wilderness home. You'll hunt from spike camps at elevation, pursuing bulls during the peak of the rut when calling is at its most exciting.

We access country that few hunters ever see — remote drainages and aspen parks where mature 6x6 bulls have never heard a human voice. Our pack string lets us go deep, setting up camp right in the elk's living room for the ultimate wilderness experience.

All hunts include fully outfitted spike camps with comfortable sleeping tents, a cook tent with hot meals, and a dedicated camp cook so you can focus entirely on hunting. We maintain a strict 1:1 hunter-to-guide ratio throughout the hunt.

Success rates run 60-75% on branch-antlered bulls. We have zero-tolerance for unethical shots — if it's not right, we pass. Come prepared to hike hard, call hard, and make memories that last a lifetime.
