Washington Black Bear — Olympic Peninsula

Coastal rainforest black bear hunting on Washington's spectacular Olympic Peninsula. This unique Pacific Northwest habitat produces some of the largest black bears in the lower 48 states — coastal bears with access to salmon streams, lush vegetation, and an almost unlimited food supply. Hunt over bait or spot & stalk through the dramatic old-growth rainforest.

The Olympic Peninsula receives more rainfall than anywhere in the contiguous United States — the jungle-like green forests are an incredible hunting environment. Bears here are dark black with beautiful coats. Summer hunts coincide with peak berry production and salmon runs, putting bears into highly predictable feeding patterns.
