About This Hunt
The northeast corner of British Columbia holds one of Canada's densest grizzly populations. Northern Lights Outfitting operates an exclusive territory in the Peace River / Fort Nelson region where grizzlies emerge onto open slopes in late April and May to feed on spring sedge and early vegetation. Hunts are conducted by spot-and-stalk from horseback and on foot, glassing massive north-facing slopes at first light. Color-phase black bear combination hunts available for hunters seeking both species in one trip.
