Mouflon Ram — Spain (Free-Range Estate Hunt)

Spain holds one of Europe's largest and most genetically pure mouflon populations in the mountainous dehesa landscapes of Extremadura and Andalucía. Mature Spanish mouflon rams are spectacular trophies — males carry tightly curled horns exceeding 75 cm, with the dramatic saddle markings and dark winter coat at their peak from October through January.

Extremadura Hunting SL manages exclusive access to private estates ranging from 5,000 to 25,000 acres in the cork oak and holm oak mountains of western Spain. Mouflon are hunted by traditional high seat at dawn and dusk or by classic Spanish montería (driven hunt) alongside red stag and wild boar. Estate hunts are fully fenced but cover thousands of acres with genuinely free-range, unhunted populations.
