Dall Sheep Hunt β Brooks Range, Alaska
About This Hunt
Dall sheep in Alaska's Brooks Range are one of North America's great wilderness hunting experiences. These brilliant white rams of the Arctic are legal to hunt with an over-the-counter tag β no draw required β making Alaska Dall sheep the most accessible of the four Grand Slam species. The challenge is the country itself: the Brooks Range is true wilderness, accessible only by bush plane with zero roads, zero trails, and zero cell service.
Arctic Divide Outfitters has operated above the Arctic Circle for 22 years, developing exclusive guiding areas in the central and eastern Brooks Range where Dall rams live largely unhunted. We consistently harvest fullcurl rams with 37"+ bases and exceptional mass. Spike camps are established by floatplane and repositioned based on sheep location.
This hunt is for experienced, physically conditioned hunters only. You will carry a heavy pack over tundra and talus for miles in pursuit of rams that can see you from a mile away. The reward is an experience that changes how you understand wild places.
