Campbell River is the "Salmon Capital of the World." Target 30–60 lb Chinook (king) salmon in the Discovery Passage where tidal currents concentrate migrating fish. Both mooching and trolling techniques. All gear provided, fishing license included. Guided trips depart at 6am. Hatchery fish keep, wild fish release or retention per DFO regulations.
