About This Hunt
The Laurentian Highlands of Quebec produce dark, heavy black bears with excellent coat quality. Boréal Edge Outfitters maintains an extensive bait station network across a 500-square-mile exclusive territory north of La Tuque. Hunters sit elevated box blinds over pre-baited sites beginning two weeks before season opener. Trophy-quality males averaging 250–350 pounds taken each season, with occasional 400+ pound boars. Fully bilingual guide staff, comfortable lodge with home-cooked meals.
