About This Hunt
Barkley Sound is one of BC's top Chinook salmon fisheries. Pacific Rim Sportfishing runs 28-ft Bayliner Trophy boats out of Port Alberni, targeting trophy Chinook (20–60 lbs) in Alberni Inlet. Guide Dave Mucha has 25+ years on the water, using downriggers and cut plug herring. Salmon fishing license + retention permit included. Fish cleaning and vacuum packing available. Full-day trips depart 6 AM, back by 4 PM.
